1. Status and scope

This self-check covers the public site only. It does not cover a client system, a client site, or a paid product. It states what a visitor can see and use on the public site, with dates and links where the site itself gives them. Where the site text does not state a point, this document does not state it either.

Movahedi Solutions is an independent privacy and AI governance consultancy. Its founder holds, as personal credentials, ISC2 CC, CIPP/C, and Lean Six Sigma coursework (LinkedIn Learning, 2022). Those are personal credentials. They are not company certifications.

2. Public site at a glance

Checked on October 28, 2026, at https://www.movahedi.ca

  • The site is a working library for Canadian privacy and AI governance.
  • It gives privacy, legal, security, product, and AI teams free tools, plain-language coverage of Law 25 and PIPEDA, and one daily insight in English and Quebec French.
  • It lists 23 hands-on tools for breach response, data mapping, consent, AI risk, explainability, and governance.
  • It lists a plain-language privacy glossary of 333 terms (English, with French term mappings in progress).
  • Its services page states that free tools run entirely in the visitor browser, with no account, no tracking, and no sales call attached for those tools.
  • The site is served over HTTPS through Cloudflare, and built and deployed from GitHub.

Services offered by Movahedi Solutions, for reference: AI Governance; Privacy and Data Governance; Cookie and Script Governance; Process Excellence; Custom AI and Data Solutions; Fractional Advisory.

3. Privacy on the public site

What the public site does:

  • Publishes a Website Privacy Policy, last updated October 29, 2026.
  • Presents privacy and AI governance coverage in plain language, covering consent, access, retention, breach response, vendors, and cross-border data on the privacy side, and use-case discovery, risk classification, explainability, bias, human oversight, acceptable use, and monitoring on the AI governance side.
  • Offers a daily insight in English and Quebec French, with the primary source kept close to the analysis.
  • Gives a contact point for questions: mohammad@movahedi.ca.

What a visitor can do first: start with a question, then use a tool, check a rule, or read the analysis, without needing to start from a blank page. That route is stated on the homepage itself.

4. Cookies and browser-based tools

What the public site does:

  • Most tools run in the visitor browser, so working material stays with the visitor, as stated on the homepage.
  • The services page states that free tools run entirely in the visitor browser, with no account, no tracking, and no sales call attached for those tools.
  • Tools turn a live question into a file, score, checklist, or decision the visitor can take back to their team. Examples verified on the homepage include the Breach Notification Deadline Calculator, the AI Governance Starter Checklist, The Black Box Files learning game, and the Adverse-Action Notice Generator.
  • The Data Mapping Field Guide runs in the visitor browser, and helps a visitor build an inventory, test retention choices, trace a data flow, and export the working file. It covers Quebec Law 25 and PIPEDA.

This section states the site own statements about its free tools, as checked. It does not state a cookie list, a cookie consent platform name, or a tracking measurement, because the pages checked do not give those points.

5. Accessibility in plain terms

What the public site does, as checked:

  • Content is written in plain language, with tools, rules, and analysis kept connected, so a visitor can start from a question rather than from a statute or framework name.
  • The daily insight is published in English and Quebec French.
  • The privacy glossary is bilingual, with 333 terms.
  • Tools are grouped by task, such as breach response, data mapping, consent, AI risk, explainability, and governance, so a visitor can pick the tool that matches the question in hand.
  • Free tools are offered without an account step for those tools, as stated on the services page, so a visitor can open a tool and use it directly.

This section states only what the fetched site text supports. It does not claim a conformance level, a test result, or a named accessibility standard, because the pages checked do not give those points.

6. Services and contact points

A visitor who wants advisory help, rather than a free tool, can use the services route on the site. The services page lists privacy and data governance, AI governance, process excellence, custom AI for GRC, media data strategy, and fractional advisory routes, with a short discovery call as the first step stated on that page.
